Colgate Scholarship 2022: Keep India Smiling Foundation Scholarship Program aims to provide foundational support to individuals, who are deserving & meritorious but may lack resources to pursue their dreams. Along with the financial support, the program will also focus on mentorship and career guidance to the beneficiaries as and when required. The NGO partner, Shikshadaan foundation has been working towards providing scholarships to underprivileged children along with supporting in mentoring & communication skills. (Colgate) Keep India Smiling Foundational Scholarship & Mentorship Programme for Sportsperson 2022-23

Eligibility

• Candidate must have represented at state/national level in the last 3 years
• Candidate must be ranked within the top 500 in the national ranking/ within the top 100 in the state ranking
• Candidate must be aged between 9 and 20 years as on 31st August 2022
• Annual family income should be less than Rs.5 Lakhs
• Candidate must be affiliated with a Sports Coach or a recognized Sports Body/Federation/Academy
• Candidate must be playing individual sports such as chess, boxing, athletics, swimming, badminton, cycling, gymnastics, martial arts, powerlifting, running, etc.

Scholarship Amount

• Financial support of Rs.75,000 per year for 3 years
• Mentorship support from the Colgate KIS Program

Documents Required

• Passport-size photograph
• Valid ID proof – Any one of Aadhaar Card/Driving License/Voter Id Card
• Income Proof – Income certificate/BPL certificate/Food security certificate/Any other certificate of income issued by competent government authority.
• Age proof or Class 10 marksheet
• Scanned copy of highest and most recent performance – Certificate of the achievement
• Proof of association with sports coach or affiliation to recognized Sports Body/Federation/Academy

Keep India Smiling Foundational Grant for Individuals Helping Others 2022-23

Eligibility

• Candidate must be involved in activities, which is impacting more than 20-25 people (multiplier effect) and are done at individual level: 
  • Teaching, training, skilling a group of underprivileged children or providing sports training to them
• The scholarship award for community help is not applicable for NGOs, who receive corporate funds or donation receipts of more than INR 1 lakh in a year
• Candidate must be from the economically weaker or moderate-income group of society
• Candidate must be a Graduate
• Relevant community references to be provided by the candidate

Scholarship Amount

•  Provides financial support of Rs.75,000 per year for 2 years
• Mentorship support from the Colgate KIS Program

Documents Required

• Passport-sized photograph
• Valid ID proof – Either of Aadhaar Card/Driving License/Voter Id Card/Pan Card
• Income Proof – Income certificate/BPL certificate/Food security certificate/Any other certificate of income issued by competent government authority.
• Disability certificate, in case of any physical disability
• Name & Registration no. of NGO/Rotary/Association/ Not for profit
